As the clever little dogs in our logo suggest, Ladyday is all about sharing things that are loved – dogs, music and friendship. It is in this spirit that best friends Linda Smith-Hayes ip. It is in this spirit that best friends and Michele Bateman have teamed up to share their friendship and love of dogs with others. Ladyday is a legendary one as it is the affectionate nickname given to the late, great Billie Holiday by her peers. Those who know jazz and blues will recognize our name theme after the brilliant performers and songs of these genres and others. Ladyday has accomplished some exciting achievements in its short time on the dog planet, producing our very first litter of Toy Manchester Terriers on Christmas Eve 2002. In 2006 we celebrate breeding the #1 Italian Greyhound in Canada, BIS, MPIS Ch. Zaffiro's Panic Attack (Zac), thanks to the expert handling and love bestowed on him by his mommy Corey Titon. We bred a nice dog....Corey made him a great one and we thank her for being so great to work with. As well, due to the love and skills of Corey Titon, we also boast the #4 Toy Manchester Terrier in Canada in 2006 as MPIS Ch. Ladyday's Jellyroll Morton (Morty) blazed an early trail in the show ring, winning big as a puppy, including a Group win and several BPIS wins. He will continue his career in the Agility world with Corey.

We are now more focused on breeding Italian Greyhounds over Toy Manchester Terriers, but we are always happy to refer Toy Manchester inquiries to reputable breeders as we have no plans for any future litters of our own.

We take pride in producing Italian Greyhounds and Toy Manchester Terriers of soundness, health and beauty. We have enjoyed success in the show ring as well as being blessed with amazing people who now love our puppies as treasured bed-bugs.

Our puppies are sold on a strick spay/neuter basis with a Health Guarantee, CKC registration, dew claw removal, shots/deworming and we assure Italian Greyhounds of soundness, health and beauty from our Champion Bloodlines. We are always available to offer advice, guidance, assistance to our puppy buyers. We also enjoy sharing stories, photos and news about our puppies.

We both live in South River, Ontario, approximately 3 hours north of Toronto between Muskoka, Parry Sound, Algonquin Park and North Bay.
